Accounting Manager

 We are looking for our first Accounting Manager in the US. This candidate will need to be reliable and self-motivated. This position is critical for the continued growth of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire a complete understanding of the company’s accounting structure and operations
  • Oversees all accounting and finance activities including general ledger preparation, journal entries, A/P, A/R, collections, payroll, analysis, cash management, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Ensures that financial policies and procedures (internal controls) are followed to provide assurance that the company assets are protected
  • Responsible for accurate and timely monthly and annual closings and corresponding reports
  • Respond to inquiries from VP of Finance and Controller regarding financial results and work on any special financial projects as requested

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of accounting experience (at least 2-3 years corporate experience including software tech)
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Netsuite, Salesforce, Bill.com, Expensify, ADP Payroll, MS Office Suite-deep Excel knowledge
  • Revenue Recognition experience
  • Knowledge and experience in dealing with employees related benefits (insurance, welfare etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of monthly closing processes and broad knowledge of accounting
  • International experience helpful- including consolidations
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in Accounting of Finance. CPA preferred, but not required
