Hed is CEO & co-founder of Silverfort. He brings a unique technical and leadership background, including product leadership roles at Verint. Hed previously served as a Group Leader at the famous 8200 elite cyber unit of the Israel Defense Forces, where he received the unit’s excellence awards and the Chief of Intelligence Corps Award for Innovation. Hed holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University.
Before founding Silverfort, Hed held product leadership roles at Verint, where he led the development of nation-scale cybersecurity solutions and earned recognition for his innovation, including patent-pending work. Earlier in his career, he served as a Group Leader in Unit 8200, the elite cyber unit of the Israel Defense Forces, where he received multiple excellence and innovation awards.
Hed co-founded Silverfort alongside Yaron Kassner and Matan Fatal after recognizing the central role identity plays in modern cyberattacks. Under his leadership, the company has built a platform that protects against identity-based threats without disrupting business operations.
A frequent keynote speaker at industry events including Gartner and EIC, Hed continues to shape the conversation around identity security as the threat landscape evolves.
