Rob Larsen

Rob Larsen is a Security Advisor at Silverfort and former Director and Chief Security Architect at General Motors, bringing more than 30 years of cybersecurity experience to identity security strategy and customer engagement. Over the course of his career, he has led major security programs at General Motors, HP, Dell, NASA, and the U.S. Treasury Department, with deep expertise in Zero Trust, manufacturing and OT security, and enterprise identity strategy. Rob is especially known for grounding security philosophy in practical execution, helping organizations tackle service accounts, non-human identities, and lateral movement risk in complex real-world environments. Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Houston and a Master’s degree in Computing and Systems from Houston Baptist University.
