Channel Account Manager – North America

About The Position

Silverfort is a well-funded Six-year-old start-up looking for a Channel Account Manager to lead growth in North America. This is a new role and a strategic hire. Silverfort is used by FORTUNE 500 companies and already has a marquis list of over 100 customers as well as partnerships with Microsoft, Okta, Ping, Palo Alto Networks, and CyberArk.

Responsibilities

The Channel Account Manager will generate new business through building a reseller, referral partner, and distributor network. The CAM will be a hands-on leader, responsible for executing on all aspects of the business relationship with each partner including recruiting, qualifying, onboarding, training, pipeline reporting, win/loss reporting. With the rapid growth of Silverfort, success in this role could lead to additional leadership responsibilities. In this role, you will:   

  • Strategize and implement programs/events/campaigns to create interest and awareness among Partners 
  • Work closely with the company’s Sales team to promote scale and maximum territory coverage 
  • Scale the channel team nationally in alignment with sales 
  • Develop a technical enablement strategy that supports the channel sales strategy globally 
  • On-board, manage, and grow existing partnerships 
  • Design and promote effective SPIFs and other incentive programs to generate interest and growth 
  • Proactively maintain ongoing knowledge of industry, global markets, existing and target channel partner accounts, & competitive landscape 
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of each strategic partner’s business and what drives their success 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven success in Channel Sales 
  • Experience in Security and/or Identity fields 
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales quota targets 
  • Desire to own all parts of a partner lifecycle, starting with profiling/recruitment 
  • Proven ability to communicate with partners at all levels within an organization 
  • Demonstrates thorough preparation for all partner meetings & activities 
  • Proven success with sales ability and demonstrated knowledge of sales process 
  • Excellent presentation skills 
  • BA/BS degree - an advantage
