Technical Writer

About The Position

Silverfort is a fast-growing cyber security startup, which provides a unique authentication solution for enterprises. It enables AI-based adaptive authentication and ‘zero trust’ security for sensitive corporate and cloud resources, including systems that were impossible to protect until today, without requiring any agents or proxies. Silverfort has customers across the world, as well as strategic partnerships with leading vendors including Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point and others. It was recognized as a Gartner ‘Cool Vendor’ for 2019.

We are currently looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our Tel Aviv office. The ideal candidate can collaborate with the different departments and is able to drive people to action, alongside proving clear, user friendly content.


  • Take ownership of the documentation process from initial design to release.
  • Manage revisions to existing documentation, including release notes, installation guides, administration guides, developer guides, REST API collections, and use cases.
  • Identify new documentation needs or opportunities and resolve reported documentation issues.
  • Collaborate with Product, R&D, Customer Success, and other teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
  • Stay current on identity security technology and new product releases.
  • Develop our documentation plans and schedules.
  • Create and maintain a consistent tone of voice across all documentation
  • Microcopy throughout the user interface
  • Choose a new documentation platform and lead a migration process if needed


  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a B2B software company, startup experience preferred.
  • High level of English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in documenting APIs.
  • Ability and initiative to learn new tools and technologies as required.
  • Strong attention to details
  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
  • Experience restructuring existing documentation, an advantage
  • Experience with source control and/or content management systems.
  • Knowledge and background in cybersecurity and networking, an advantage
  • Motivated, independent, fast learner, can-do approach, and a true team player.
